STOVES
With the cold weather approaching and the holidays not far behind, its nice to have wood stove. Fireplaces are nice to look at but when it comes to heating your home a wood stove is the way to go. The high efficiency of today's stoves puts a lot more heat into a room when compared to a traditional fireplace. Most have glass doors so you can see the fire as it burns. Pellet stoves are also a great form of heat. With pellet stoves you don't have to worry about creosote buildup like you do with a fireplace or woodstove. Instead it's a fine dust like substance that usually comes clean with one pass of the brush. Another benefit to having a pellet stove is the installation. It uses a much smaller liner, usually 4 inch in diameter so it will fit in just about any flue size without having to tile knock. Whichever option you chose it always feels great coming home to a warm house when you can smell that fire burning.
